I have come across another non-believer Conservative blog and thought readers may be interested in reading it.

Jillian Becker, the Editor, is a leading member of the Freedom Assocation, the libertarian Conservative Group.

Check out the site’s “articles of reason”. Couldn’t agree more.

Meanwhile, Pyers has passed this Humphrey/Hacker exchange from Yes Prime Minister, which made me chuckle:

Sir Humphrey: ‘In the Church of England the word Modernist is code for non-believer.’
Jim Hacker: ‘An atheist?
Sir Humphrey: ‘Oh no, Prime Minister. An atheist clergyman couldn’t continue to draw his stipend. So when they stop believing in God they call themselves modernists.’
Jim Hacker: ‘How can the Church of England recommend an atheist as Bishop of Bury St. Edmunds?’
Sir Humphrey: ‘Very easily. The Church of England is primarily a social organisation, not a religious one.’
