Tony Blair tells all about why he took so long to convert to Catholicism.
What do you think?
Does this confirm that he felt that people might think him crazy or was a constitutional issue involved i.e. being Prime Minister was more important to him than his God and faith?

Or more important to him than raising a constitutional issue which might have caused the Queen, and our unwritten but long-established constitution some problems.
Was he putting himself last and not first in this delay?
Odd how I, as a supporter of Mr Blair, can see the ifs and buts in a more generous spirit than those who wish to cast aspersions.
Isn’t it?

So why aren’t you arguing for the law to be changed? Seems to me he was a bit yellow-bellied. Happy to invade Iraq – despite his Christianity – but heaven forbid he challenge the Act of Settlement.
